How many days in advance should the equipment be ordered?
The equipment must be ordered at least one day in advance. The reservation can be made through the website and you will receive a voucher/coupon for services via email once the payment has been completed.
Can I pick up my equipment the day before skiing?
Yes, in fact, we recommend that you do so. You can pick it up from 5pm the day before.
What are the opening times for Pic Negre la Molina?
Pic Negre La Molina opening hours:
- Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday: from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Rental hours: Monday to Friday: from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Rental hours: Saturday and Sunday: from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
What happens if I lose/break/steal my equipment? Is there a guarantee on the ski equipment?
Yes, we provide our own ski equipment warranties, which cover BREAKAGE ONLY. In case of theft or loss, the amount is to be paid according to the range/equipment. If the guarantee is contracted, the amount payable in the event of loss or theft will always be less than that which would be payable if there were no guarantees.

What happens if I have an accident on the slopes?
Upon presentation of the medical certificate of the injury at the shop where you hired the equipment, we will assess the remaining days of equipment rental.
According to my level, which would be the right choice of range?
- Beginner: BRONZE
- Medium level: SILVER
- Expert: GOLD
Differences between ranges
There are different types of ski and snowboard ranges:
SKI
- BRONZE range: Our first price skis for those who want to get started in the world of skiing or for low-level skiers seeking a reasonable price.
- SILVER range: Mid-range skis aimed at skiers looking to improve their skiing skills with modern equipment. You can discover and enhance your carving technique with this range of skis and make the leap to the advanced level.
- GOLD range: High-end skis for demanding skiers. You will be able to choose from a wide variety of the best brands.Highly responsive skis for on-piste and off-piste turns, offering continuous control and absolute confidence in the snow.
- JUNIOR range: Skis for boys and girls up to and including 12 years old.
SNOWBOARD
- BRONZE range: Snowboards suitable for novice snowboarders. The snowboards are very forgiving and easy to handle.
- SILVER range: Snowboards for beginners with medium-high level. Discover the V-Rocker to venture into the fresh snow. On and off-piste, it offers a precise and balanced ride.
- GOLD range: snowboards, to be able to enjoy the snow in all conditions and without limits. You will find the latest models of the leading brands.
JUNIOR range: Snowboards for boys and girls up to and including 12 years old.
Can I upgrade the range of skis or snowboard mid-contract?
Yes. Go directly to the shop where you hired the equipment and present your request to our sales team. Any upgrade in the range of equipment is subject to an increase in the cost.
Is it possible to hire clothing equipment?
Yes, we have textile equipment available for rent. We offer trousers for €10 per day, jackets from €15 per day or the whole outfit for €25 per day.
Can I hire cross-country equipment?
No. This equipment is not yet available at our hire/sales points.
Can I hire sledges / snowshoes?
Yes, go to your Pic negre La Molina store and we will inform you.
Do you hire mountain/ randonée skis?
Yes, we have ski touring/randonee equipment available for hire.
Until what age is a person who hires items considered JUNIOR / CHILD?
Junior / child age covers up to 12 years , inclusive. Therefore, any renter under the age of 13.
What is the difference between men’s and women’s equipment?
There is no difference when booking. When you arrive at the point of sale for collection, our professionals will inform you of the availability based on the model.
What days are you closed throughout the year?
We do not close on any day during the ski season, including holidays and calendar days (Christmas, New Year's, New Year's, etc.).
